14.08.2011

Just realize today is 14.08.2011. This day last year, I left Milan, with all my suitcases and rucksacks, taking the train to Lausane, then another one to Paris, staying there overnight, taking the morning train to Lille, then catching the Eurolines bus crossing the Channel Tunnel, and oops, after about 8 hours or so, I was in London Victoria! Welcome back to England.

One year ago, I didn’t even think that I would stay here in London for so long. But it just happened like that. And even now, I have no idea this day next year, where would I be? But anyhow the last one year in London has been so fabulous to me. I have experienced so many things that I would not have been able to do so if I had lived anywhere else on this planet Earth. And that, even I used to have such a difficult time living here, even sometimes London has lost its charms, even with the recent riots, I am still in much love with this city!

Today was marked by a very nice talk on the bus 29 with a stranger. When the bus terminated at Trafalgar square, he held my hands and wished me happiness. Then I had a swimming lesson followed by a cozy dinner by St Paul’s with my lovely friends. Well, what could I expect more than that! :).

So this is to share with you my funky and rebellious London, something you might have not seen on the postcards!
